Trump Warns of Cuba’s Imminent Collapse Following Loss of Venezuelan Aid
Speaking to reporters in Iowa, Trump said, "Cuba will be failing pretty soon. Cuba is really a nation that's very close to failing."
He claimed that Havana had long depended on Caracas for financial assistance, stating that Cuba “got their money from Venezuela.”
Trump also pointed to energy supplies as a critical factor, saying, "They got their oil from Venezuela. They're not getting that anymore," suggesting that the loss of that support is accelerating Cuba’s decline.
